M. Ashraf's work was mostly for Shabab production. During his 45-year film career, he composed music for 400 films and composed about 2800 film songs. Shaukat Ali, Naheed Akhtar, Naira Noor, Rajab Ali, Asad Amanat He also had the honor of introducing many well-known singers, including Ali. He was the busiest musician of the 60's and 70's, during which time he received more than a dozen awards.

Born on February 1, 1938, M. Ashraf composed music for three generations in Pakistan. In the 1960s, M. Ashraf worked with musician Manzoor and their duo became very popular under the name Manzoor Ashraf. They worked together till 1967, after which Manzoor disappeared from the scene, but M. Ashraf made a name for himself in the world of music.
In the sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties, he composed music for a total of more than 600 films. From Queen Tarun Noor Jahan and Mehdi Hassan to Tahira Syed, Rajab Ali, Akhlaq Ahmed, Naira Noor and Anwar Rafi Every singer and songwriter sang the songs he composed. His Punjabi songs arranged on folk tunes were also very popular.
The films for which M Ashraf was given the Nigar Award for his brilliant music include Gharana Mein Naam Mohabbat, Shabana and Qurbani.
M. Ashraf introduced singer Shaukat Ali in the movie "Tes Mar Khan" in 1963 and singer Naheed Akhtar in the movie "Nanha Farshta" in 1974. Naira Noor's first superhit song was also in the music of M. Ashraf. Rajab Ali also in 1971 I sang in his film "Memories".
Asad Amanat Ali Khan was given the opportunity for the first time by M. Ashraf in Shabab Kiranvi's film "Sohaili". I include Noor Jahan, Mehdi Hassan, Masood Rana and Ahmed Rushdie. He later sang many wonderful songs with Naheed Akhtar in which "Someone kindly came and decorated my life" is still popular today.
In the movie "Shabana", he sang a song like "Tere Bana Duniya Mein" from Mehdi Hassan. Among the famous films of M. Ashraf, Mehtab, Spiran, Aina, Mann Ki Jeet, Gharana, Daman and Changari. 'Love is life', when the flowers bloom, 'life', friend and others are included. This famous musician passed away on February 4, 2007 due to heart failure. His son M.
